The Impact of an Intensive Treatment Program on Graduate Clinicians' Perception of Treating Children/Teens Who Stutter

In order to evaluate graduate clinicians' perception of treating children/teens who stutter, a six-question rating scale was administered following a period of academic coursework and prior to Fluency Friday Plus, an intensive treatment program for school-age children who stutter. The same questions were then administered to the same graduate clinicians following participation in this intensive treatment program. Results indicated a significant change in perceptions towards treating children/teens who stutter following the intensive treatment program experience.
